Agreement

These terms govern your use of heavybook.com.au, operated by HeavyBook (ABN 94 724 739 258), a sole trader ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What HeavyBook is

HeavyBook is an independent information service. We publish verified market ranges, hire rates and clearly labelled indicative models for machinery. We are not a valuer, dealer, auctioneer, broker, or marketplace; we sell no machines and hold no inventory.

Dealer directory

Dealer profiles are a factual discovery directory, not an endorsement, ranking, agency relationship or statement that particular equipment is currently available. Business details can change, so confirm locations, stock, prices and terms on the dealer's official site. Directory inclusion and claims are free and do not affect HeavyBook price figures.

Estimates are information, not advice

Our figures are general information to help you research — not a valuation, an offer, or financial, credit, or professional advice. Always make your own enquiries and obtain independent advice before buying, selling, or financing a machine. See our Disclaimer.

Permitted use

You may use the site for your own personal or internal business research. You must not scrape, harvest, bulk-download, resell, or republish our data or content, or use it to build a competing dataset, without our written permission. The dataset is the core of what we do.

Equipment finance

Where we link to equipment finance, HeavyBook may receive a fee if you proceed with a broker we refer you to. We never recommend a specific credit product, and any indicative repayment figure is indicative only, not financial advice.

Intellectual property

The content, data, design, and branding on HeavyBook are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive licence to view and use the site for the purposes above. All other rights are reserved.

No warranty

The site and its figures are provided "as is". While we work hard to keep our data accurate and current, we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate, or up to date, or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its figures. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded; where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the relevant information.

Changes and governing law
