ASV's Posi-Track machines are so embedded in the Australian market that "posi-track" became the generic word for a compact track loader, and the RT-50 is the brand's mid-size all-rounder here. Its flexible rubber-track undercarriage runs dramatically lower ground pressure than conventional steel-embedded designs, which is why turf contractors and landscapers working finished lawns and sensitive surfaces pay the brand premium. Later production was repowered with a Yanmar engine, so early and late examples differ under the hood — worth confirming which you are looking at. The undercarriage is the key inspection item in both directions: its components differ from conventional track loaders, so price its condition with an ASV-literate eye rather than assuming standard replacement costs.
